Ashgrove
Engaged by Briswest Renovations, our Ashgrove clients allowed a very open ended vision for this Queenslander, settled in the heart of Ashgrove. In need of its renovation, this project started from the driveway, with a full exterior and interior colour consult. It paved the way for the interior components. Most notably, the curved stairs on the main floor were to be retained, with the kitchen working within the parameters of same. A black and white theme was adopted, ensuring a strong look and finish to ground the kitchen at its elevated height to the remaining living space. It made sense to bring this same strength into the bathrooms and laundry, with Italian dark grey tiles with soft white veining and hardwood vanities. The spaces were softened with rounded selections in bath, basins and mirrors. Straight lined brushed nickel tapware tied the spaces together perfectly.
