The Little Shop of Colours

These thespian lads, hailing from Melbourne, brought their love of Shakespeare and theatrical menu to the table and beyond with this fantastic baroque inspired cafe in Brisbane’s west.  The brief allowed me to work with their already strong inspirational concept and bring the drama to life.  Timber and black furniture and decor was softened by the blush Venetian specialty paint finish to the interior walls.  Arches followed the baroque style both inside and out, continuing to the curved back wall and seating area.  They also worked as natural divisions to spaces without compromising the open feel necessary in a cafe environment.  Copper look tiles and timber batons grounded and ensured a high impact entrance to this vibrant and busy cafe, perfectly complimenting its enchanting owners.
